This data is collected via Google Analytics (GA4), Vercel Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity additionally captures behavioural data — including session recordings, heatmaps, clicks, scrolls, and mouse movements — to help us understand how the platform is used. Text content and form inputs are masked by default and are not recorded.
We also record ad impressions and clicks first-party (in our own database, not via an ad network) on the pages that carry sponsor placements. Each record stores the creative shown, the page, your IP address, browser user agent, and approximate location (country, region, and city) derived from your IP. We use this to report accurate impression and click counts to sponsors and to detect invalid or automated traffic. From these records, sponsors receive aggregate counts only — we never pass on your IP address or user agent. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it or share it with ad networks or data brokers.
If you click a sponsor link, you are taken to that sponsor’s own website, which — like any site you visit — will see your IP address and browser information, and will be told the visit came from MCP Playground. We send only our domain name, never the specific page you were reading. What happens next is governed by that sponsor’s privacy policy, not this one.

Important — AI model providers: When you run an agent in MCP Agent Studio, your messages are processed by the underlying model provider (e.g. Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for GPT models, Google for Gemini). Your inputs and outputs are subject to the privacy policies of the relevant model provider. We recommend not entering sensitive personal data in agent conversations.

We are based in India. Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel) operate servers primarily in the United States. If you are located in the EEA or UK, your data may be transferred to countries outside the EEA. Where this occurs, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or the equivalent mechanism for UK transfers.
MCP Playground is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
